Ute Ploier Fall 2009

After winning the prize for best men's collection at the Hyeres fashion festival, Austrian Ute Ploier launched her eponymous label in 2003. Ploier's is a thoroughly modern collection that presents menswear pieces of all social standings from the double-breasted suit to the hoodie. Textiles and the manufacturing process are a constant focus as well. Layering and mixing of various special or unusual fabrics and meticulous construction details pervade the collection. Poiler was a student of Raf Simons' at the University of Applied Arts of Vienna. Time To suit up...
